We Customise Everything
Customisation is what we do. Every product on our website can be personalised in some way. Due to the huge variety of products we offer, there are a number of personalisation types, which use different techniques depending on what suits. Check them out below.
Many of our products can be engraved, whether that is laser engraved using state of the art laser machinery, or drag etched using computerised diamond drag engraving.
Metals are mainly diamond drag etched due to their inherent hardness which gives a lovely subtle etching. Whereas other materials such as wood and acrylic are laser engraved or cut using CO2 laser machines. These are extremely accurate and can even engrave photographs.
This process is affectionately known as Embossing (or more accurately debossing) We use a manual stamping machine with a hot plate that holds letter and number stencils to heat up a foil layer and adhere it to the surface, usually leather. The effect is a shiny metallic finish that is both bold and eye-catching.
UV Printing is a type of digital printing which allows us to print onto non absorbant materials easily. Our machines use Ultra Violet light to 'cure' the ink immediately rather than allowing it to dry naturally like normal inks. This means the colours are more vibrant and they don't fade or weather and they are UV stable meaning they can be used outdoors.
Another notable advantage is the range of materials we can print onto, opening up possibilites for personalising new ranges of products.
One more positive is they don't use solvents to dry the ink like regular printing and so don't release VOCs into the environment.
This is our newest form of product customisation and involves using the latest embriodery machinery to stitch designs such as names and logos into materials using different coloured threads to create eye-catching artwork.
Much can be done using this technique and it has allowed us to expand our product offering into thicker clothing garments such as fleeces, dressing gowns, pillows and blankets.
Personalisation FAQs
Nearly all of our products can be customised to some degree. Our live preview on every product allows you to see where your item will be personalised and you can edit it in real time.
Most of our products can be customised within 24 hours. Every product has an estimated ship by date shown when you add the product to cart. Please note for larger orders this may extend the shipping time slightly.
Every product has a text box where you can enter your details. Character limits and size limits are all designed to allow the customisation to be shown at its best.
We offer a variety of fonts which you can preview and choose from during your customisation process on the product page.
However if you require a unique font that we don't show, please feel free to get in touch. If you have the font file in .ttf format we can accommodate most requests.
This depends on which product you are looking to purchase. Logos can be added to many items, however space is a factor.
Smaller items like pens don't play well with logos. Whereas pint glasses will accommodate most logos as long as they are reasonably high quality.
Ideally we require a high quality vector image such as a png or eps file, however we can work with most logos such as jpg files as long as the quality is reasonably high. If you are uploading a jpg logo, we recommend a size of over 800x800px in general for optimal engraving.
When we engrave logos onto glass, the final engraving colour is a light grey colour, we etch the surface of the glass to recreate the logo. You can see some examples below.
